Let’s just say, we definitely earned a gold star for this one. When My Job Chart came to us, they were a new company with a stellar idea: offer an online chore chart where parents and kids can track and earn rewards for daily tasks. They already had 3,000 active accounts when Skyhook began working on their site – but after just 8 months, that number had jumped to 60,000.

My Job Chart had the beginnings of a highly successful idea – they just needed an amazing website to make it happen. Our coders and designers overhauled their user interface and rewards system, including a retail feature that pulls reward suggestions from Amazon or allows kids to donate to charity. Our marketing team set up their blog and launched a pay-per-click campaign, as well as a campaign that reached out to the ever-multiplying online world of mommy bloggers. Today, the My Job Chart website hosts more than 100,000 accounts and receives 5,000 hits every day.

A refreshing new look

We wanted to make sure that visitors knew what the product was and how to get started, so we created this several versions of a very straightforward home page, and tested effectiveness until we found the one the brought in the most new sign ups.

Teaching kids to Save, Share, and Spend

Integrating amazon.com affiliate sales, parents can now search and select rewards from across Amazon to use as rewards for kids to buy with points, as well as converting them to savings or donating them to a custom or featured charity.

Social sharing

Word of mouth has been a huge source of new users for MJC. Facebook, Twitter, and sponsored blog posts on relevant networks turned on the engine that still drives membership today.
