Javascript

Javascript is a programming language that is executed by the visitor’s browser as opposed to the server. This reality allows for some really cool features like sliding and moving page regions, screen animation, form validation, browser interaction and a whole host of other capabilities.

Although Javascript has been around for years, it has only been in the last 5-10 years that we have seen it really take off. Many novice computer users confuse Javascript with Java which is actually a completely different language. #funfact.
